The illustration and design work I create is primarily digital-based with the inclusion of many traditionally drawn elements thrown in for good measure. My weapons of choice include the Adobe Suite software, some obscure programs which when used for purposes beyond that of their primary function prove very handy indeed, a neat little scanner, a digital camera, a giant box of scrap collage materials, an assortment of pastel, charcoal and chalk stubs, many half-rolled tubes of paint and spraycans like you wouldn't believe.
My hands have even met with photography, sculpture, video production and audio authoring in the past, so my style is very much under construction right now - and will be forever more.
The diversity of my workload is what keeps things interesting. An average week will see me laying out designs for some standard business stationery or corporate website one minute, and then sketching out children's book illustrations or plotting the artwork on a fairground ride facia the next. The array of design work above covers a range of products spanning CD covers to t-shirts to posters to book jackets and everything in between. There's experience there with brand evolution, visual corporate guidelines, magazine and editorial illustration and logo development
My Artwork projects to date include work commissioned privately by individuals requiring gifts for family and friends, such as portrait drawings, children's murals and more popularly personalised canvas prints.
